Founder/Physical Therapist

Synergy Physical Therapy & Performance was founded in 2018 by Chris Dysart, PT, DPT. Chris decided that he wanted to provide a physical therapy center that focused on direct therapist-to-patient care with a hands-on approach to better service his community.

Chris graduated from Louisiana Health Sciences in Shreveport in 2015 with a doctorate in Physical Therapy. He received his bachelor's degree in Kinesiotherapy from the University of Southern Mississippi and is a proud alumnus of Holy Cross High School.

Chris has extensive experience in the treatment of orthopaedic and sports-related conditions, as well as experience in the treatment of neurological conditions and work-related injuries. Chris has been a physical therapy provider for several high school sports medicine programs since beginning his career. He also has additional certifications and training in the areas of functional dry needling, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilizations, joint mobilization, kinesiotape application, and advanced training in treatment of sport's related injuries.

Partner/Clinical Director-Westbank Clinic

George Strangos, PT, DPT graduated from The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences with his doctorate of physical therapy. George graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from James Madison University where he got experience working with Division 1 athletes.

Since graduating in 2012, George has worked in outpatient orthopaedics specializing in orthopaedic and sports related conditions with use of his advanced certifications in functional dry needling, ASTYM, blood flow restriction training, and vestibular rehabilitation. George has extensive training in manual physical therapy techniques for a hands on approach to physical therapy.

Clinical Director-Uptown Clinic

Laura Burke, PT, DPT received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of South Alabama. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University where she also competed as a Track and Field athlete. Laura is an Alumni of Mount Carmel Academy.

Laura has experience working in outpatient orthopaedic and sport rehabilitation. She has worked with high school athletic programs and has certification and advanced training in functional dry needling, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, kinesiotaping, manual therapy, and blood flow restriction training. Professionally, Laura’s unique background allows her to provide individualized rehabilitation for athletes and patients wanting to return to their highest level of function.

Physical Therapist-Harahan Clinic

Rachael Brousse, PT, DPT Graduated from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences with her doctorate of Physical Therapy. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology- Human Movement from Louisiana State University, where she was also a cheerleader for 4 years. She graduated from Mount Carmel Academy.

Rachael has experience working in outpatient orthopaedic and sports physical rehabilitation. She has certification and advanced training in functional dry needling, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, kinesiotaping, manual therapy, and blood flow restriction training. She also has interest and experience in vestibular therapy.

Physical Therapist- Harahan Clinic

Rachael McNulty, PT, DPT graduated from the University of St.Augustine for Health Sciences with her doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2023. Rachael graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Southeastern Louisiana University. She is an Alumni of St. Charles Catholic High School.

Rachael has experience with outpatient orthopaedic and sports related conditions. She is trained in specialized treatment types including manual therapy, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, kinesiotaping, and blood flow restriction training. She is dedicated and passionate to provide the best patient care focusing on achieving better quality of life.

Physical Therapist-Westbank Clinic

Maddie was born and raised on the Westbank of New Orleans, where she attended Patrick F Taylor Science and Technology Academy. She received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University in 2019, and graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from LSU Health Shreveport in 2023.

Maddie is excited to be part of the Synergy team, and enjoys working with patients with a variety of sports and orthopedic conditions. She is motivated to provide all of her patients with a positive and personalized PT experience. She is trained to provide specialized treatment in manual therapy, blood flow restriction training, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization and kinesiotaping.

Chandler is from Destrehan, LA where he graduated from Destrehan High School in 2014. He completed a Bachelors of Science from LSU in 2018 and graduated from Delgado Community College’s Physical Therapist Assistant program in 2020. Chandler’s inspiration is to provide the best care and to experience the joy in helping patients strive to improve their quality of life.

Zoey is from Shreveport, LA and traveled down to Baton Rouge where she completed a Bachelors of Science at LSU in 2019. She graduated from Delgado Community College's Physical Therapist Assistant program in 2022. Zoey is a movie fanatic and loves finding cool restaurants in New Orleans with her husband, Michael. She is passionate about patient care and is excited to be on the Synergy team!

Kendall Perot grew up in Shreveport and graduated from Elysian Fields High School in East Texas. She discovered her passion for physical therapy while volunteering work at an equine therapy facility in Greenwood, LA. Kendall went to college at Northwestern State University where she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Health and Exercise Science with a concentration in Physical Therapy in 2017.

Following graduation, she moved to New Orleans where she attended Delgado Community College’s Physical Therapy Assistant program and graduated in 2022. In her free time, Kendall enjoys playing kickball, volleyball, and running. Kendall loves working with young athletes, but aspires to help those of all ages get back to doing the things they love.

Claudia was born and raised in Slidell, Louisiana. She is an alumni of Pope John Paul II High School. Claudia graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology: Exercise Science in 2020, and graduated from Delgado Community College’s Physical Therapy Assistant program in 2023.

Claudia is excited to add a daily dose of positivity to each and every patient.

Osman Chavez was born and raised in New Orleans, LA, where he received an associate’s degree at Delgado Community college. Osman aspires to become a physical therapist assistant and is dedicated to assisting patients for the best experience and care while helping improve quality of life.

Mario Garcia received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from the University of East Texas Baptist University. Mario is a former high school soccer coach and has special interest in sports rehabilitation.

Alyssa graduated from John Curtis Christian School in 2021. She is currently at Southeastern Louisiana University studying Kinesiology with a concentration in Physical Therapy, where she plans to get her Doctorate degree.

Mallory serves as Synergy's office manager. Her roles include scheduling, patient/medical relations, and insurance verification. Mallory is happy to assist all patient's and medical offices with all office needs.
